Previous days have been murky, damp and very grey. My first walk and photography since before Christmas when I climbed that big steep and almost dangerous snowy set of hills. Have been rather unwell since.
Out on first bus westwards for 30km (full of children going to school!) to a new area for me, to explore and soon I was met by this wonderful scene. It did get a bit more dramatic and colourful when the sun finally burst through but if I post one of those first, I'm likely to forget the earlier pre-sunrise subtler images.
I was then out for ten kms on yet more hills after this until about lunchtime. Still tiring, but perhaps I was still not yet back to full health. I saw the first daffodil in bloom of the year too!
