con Sigma 1.4x TC-1401, 1/1600 f/10.0, ISO 1250, hand held. Parco Nazionale del Gran Paradiso, Italy. Specie: Rupicapra rupicapra

Very good photo, I only hope that with all the snow that is falling this year can find food, otherwise I hope in the intervention of man.

Thank you friends !!!
For Villa Arrigo: thank you for your appreciation but I do not agree with you ... I sincerely hope that the man never intervenes in the natural balance ... but only intervenes where the same man is to ruin this balance ... a example on all the estes of Black Rhinos in Africa.
Man: a species that always feels 'mistress' and that many times deserves to be extinct.
A greeting
Fabio

Dear Fabio, in the specific case since it is a very snowy winter, contrary to other years, I thought only of hay bales placed in the right places. As far as the example you are right is 100x100, man is the most lousy on the planet not only for the rhinos in Africa but also here with us the ski fields higher and higher, summer fashion to climb more and more off-road and motorcycles to invade the habitat of the 4 bears and 3 wolves that still I stay there and it comes to me to say: but what we are leaving to our children, not even rabbits. A very sad greeting.

Nice baby boy under the snow. I would have preferred it horizontally and with more breath but I know it's your style :-D
As for the speech of Arrigo foraging in a national park would be a very wrong thing, if not in the initial phase of some reintroduction where the bottleneck risk is still high. Better to let the winters, epidemics and predators (where present) do.

The fact is that, being here warm in front of the PC while my wife prepares dinner, I think of them, the effort to find food in a nature that unfortunately was upset, by us. Surely you are right Fabio and Francesco. :-P

Beautiful portrait with the snow, given the conditions maybe I would have preferred more set, but they are personal tastes ;-)

But which natural balances where in Italy? man is everywhere and does not respect anything and his presence in certain territories is always harmful whatever the motivation. All the animals suffer from the compression of their territories and are in trouble to get food not only but also suffer from the presence of human infestation, including the hordes of pseudo naturalist environmentalists who in trampled mountains trampling.

Great beautiful beak! It has all the characteristics to get by on its own even with an adverse winter.
Otherwise the natural selection will do its own course ....
Nice picture
