Snowy Owl sent on October 17, 2012 (21:17) by Andrea Settesoldi. 12 comments, 1095 views.

Critiche e commenti ben accetti.

Perfect photo. You are obviously innocent, but I agree with Maurizio; your document clarifies once again the absurdity of falconry for at least as practiced in Italy because, as mentioned several times in the past, its cultural foundations in the Arab territories deserve much more respect. Even apart from these considerations that the point of the exercise with non-native, with a snowy owl (no more owl-D) from the Arctic Circle down very occasionally in winter, and with individual specimens, not south Holland? It makes me think of the poor Huskies and Samoyeds of Italian cities in obvious difficulty during our hot summers.

when did you send me to mail it's taken me a shot:-D :-)

a great shot and a story that is unbelievable ... pity that there were because I would have liked to tell him four falconer.
I do not like falconry but if the species is native to animals that are less critical as this totally out of their natural habitat, I agree with those who preceded me on the absurdity of the thing ... and I come to say that they love these animals because if you really loved them would let you live in freedom and especially in environments with them. The
