Mi sono diplomanto in luglio 1993. Pochi giorni la fine di quel cimento sono partito con tre miei amici del tempo per un trekking di 4 notti e 5 giorni sull'Etna (allora abitavo a Catania). Abbiamo percorso l'anello sommitale della Guardia Forestale, partendo a qualche chilometro di distanza dal Rifugio Sapienza, e finendo la nostra peregrinazione dalle parti di Piano Provenzana. Nello zaino avevo con me (oltre al necessario per il viaggio) la mia fidata Vivitar V2000 con cui ho scattato queste foto. Mi portavo dietro anche l'edizione Rusconi de Il Signore degli Anelli di J. R. R. Tolkien, per la prima di una decina di letture. Fui, sono e sarò sempre un sognatore, dopotutto.
