Secondo molti il Castello di Villalta è il più importante maniero medievale del Friuli. Il maniero è stato costruito sulle prime alture delle colline moreniche che cingono la pianura friulana. Risale al XII secolo anche se è stato più volte ricostruito e ricostruito. Tuttora abitato dai nobili Frangipane, un ramo della famiglia dei Villalta-Caporiacco che lo hanno edificato. In questa immagine è stato ripreso durante la "blue hour" dal prato posto sul retro del castello (a cui si può accedere grazie ad alcuni sentieri che attraversano i boschi che circondano lo storico edificio).
