perfectly composed photography, with the perspective that leads to a door immersed in a threatening obscurity ... the caption is equally interesting: perhaps the time of great men is really over, everyone is the guide of himself without waiting for the man of providence, beneath whose appearance horror figures may hide

I, too, do not like walls stained with graffiti .... Although they often reflect people's moods. : -o Congratulations Gatta-A. Hello and happy new year from Gaz. :-P :-)

Difficult to disagree ... you managed to get back the alley with the light that gradually decreases hand ... congratulations!

You have also taken Dante and Virgilio who come out "to see the stars" climbing the stairs that lead to a "new" light. That of hell is clear in the foreground.
Beautiful photos and wise observations.
Happy New Year.

Perfect composition: the writing leads to the dark, perhaps the illuminated staircase will take us to see the stars again .....
Congratulations and best wishes

In this picture there are a set of refinements that bring back to the great poet, starting from the graffiti that recalls the Virgilio guide and our present misfortunes, in the shadow that precedes the sight of the light by the wayfarers. Combined with the caption you composed a masterpiece, you're really very good :-) :-P: -o
Thank you and happy new year to you and to your loved ones :-) :-P

I perfectly share what you say about the smeared walls, but also stop to read the meaning can be interesting and meaningful, as in this picture of yours well accompanied by interesting caption, congratulations Agata.

It is ugly to smear the places but we must also understand, as in this case, the message ... or better ... the request for help that a part of the population is shouting to the deaf ears of today's "civilization".
Beautiful photo reports Agata and also nice that your caption is a wish for us all to "see the stars again."
A hug

Often the smeared walls reflect the thinking of ordinary people with real feelings. I do not like them either. Great shot and beautiful caption, Agata. I greet you Happy
