, f/3.5, ISO 200, tripod.

Dearest Matteo,
it is not easy to "invent" a photo like that and you have been really good at thinking and making it!
Although my "things" are certainly much simpler to realize I really agree with your statement
... maybe you could have done a photomontage, but things done with patience and without too many magheggi in post production they give very different results and many other satisfactions ...
!
Really sincere congratulations!

@Paul,

your "things" seem simple ... but instead they are anything but.
This is why we deserve admiration and appreciation regardless, and unconditionally.
At least this is my thought, and this remains.

And thank you for bringing back the discourse of experimenting and trying and trying again without resorting to the post.
Because the satisfaction of being able to get what I wanted is priceless, even in the face of the "undulatory exhaustion" that the feather made me suffer ... ;-)

Thanks again, my friend.
Good evening
Matteo

The photo is really beautiful and I really like it ... and it is certainly far beyond what I would be able to do. I do not feel like making a critique but rather, modestly, I would like to ask you a question: the fact that the reflection on the plane is cut was obliged by the environmental conditions of the shot or is it a precise aesthetic choice? In this second case was a choice made on the basis of evidence in both situations or have you decided directly for the current frame?

You have built a beautiful light cube, congratulations)

In the end only continuous experimentation can give results and, Still Life, is pure oxygen to do this. It allows you to try and try again with and against any theory, and it is the demonstration that you do not need to spend who knows what ... on the contrary.

The only counter remains the space and the power of light: it is something that I always feel the need for. They are never enough!

Good fun!

Matteo
