Il primo giorno a Churchill è stato strano ma allo stesso tempo molto bello .La neve era quasi sparita a causa di un anomala ondata di caldo e il paesaggio intorno a noi era diventato irreale a tal punto di non sembrare neanche di essere vicini al Artico , nonostante cio ci ha regalato un bellissimo tramonto con una luce calda e qualche bellissimo incontro come questa femmina di orso polare col suo cucciolo che riposavano su un anfratto roccioso in attesa anche loro del freddo e della neve Il cucciulo di un paio di mesi , forse distrurbato dal rumore delle nostre macchine fotografiche o forse da una leggera brezza che aveva iniziato a soffiare ha alzato la testa ci ha guardati un po incuriosito e poi con gli occhi chiusi si è lasciato accarezzare dal vento .. una scena davero bellissima , per poi tornare ad accoccolarsi alla madre e continuare il sonnellino
