La foto ha due protagonisti assoluti: l'anziana signora ed i colorati, splendenti di luce, fiori. Pur avendo questi ultimi, un peso maggiore, nell'immagine, in quanto molto più rappresentati, la signora è posta in un punto di forza della composizione, quindi acquista peso a trovarsi, quindi, in equilibrio con i fiori
Il bianco e nero riduce forza ai colori e quindi risulta predominante la signora, che seppur interessante per il suo abbigliamento, (sminuito dal colore) non sta svolgendo un'azione particolarmente accattivante, la foto, a mio avviso risulta più piatta.
Il colore restituisce forza ai fiori, e non nega nulla alla signora, a mio avviso è una foto più equilibrata e caratterizzata dal colore che merita essere rappresentato, il contorno, infatti, oltre ai due protagonisti, non ha quasi nessun peso e non risente nelle due proposte
