, 1/160 f/11.0, ISO 100, hand held.

Spectacular, the B / N is very good for me.

While not loving ib / n, especially in macro and landscapes, I must say that in this case gives the right drama to a subject already in itself characteristic. Unconventional choice that has its own charm! Then for the rest there is MasterRinghio! :-D

I did not know that pharaohs existed in your land. :-D
Once again I must congratulate for the success of this splendid shot. I remember an exchange of ideas made some time ago on the use of the b / w in nature, while remaining convinced of the advantage that the color gave to the image, while in this case the result is not bad, I do not seem to lose ground when the colors are fairly uniform, certainly losing ground in subjects with more colors.

Very nice and well made Ringhio, pity only lost (I think) during shooting the final part of the antennas and a bit of detail on the eye, however, all in all a great photo

See you soon

Emanuele

Impressive ... looks like a horror figure, the black and white in macro I have never seriously experienced it except with sporadic attempts that have never convinced me.
The color has an edge for the simple reason that in b & n you are to lose those small details enhanced by the color that are the strong point of macro photography.
That said, you have achieved an excellent result and I congratulate you despite the nuances in ... gray.

An incredible macro, the beautiful specimen taken almost resembles the Hollywood imaginary of an alien. Bello also the use of the b & w.
