Dicono che il Frosone sia una specie protetta, Una conferma pare arrivi proprio dalla popolazione censita in provincia di Padova, ove la specie risulta del tutto assente dalle aree pianeggianti a causa del progressivo estendersi di un'agricoltura intensiva e della quasi totale scomparsa di boschi e siepi, Immaginate quindi il mio stupore e la mia gioia quando stamattina ne ho visti ben due alla mia mangiatoia, uno si abbeverava e l'altro dopo avere mangiato si è appollaiato su unramo, sono davvero felice che almeno non siano scomparsi da questa zona!
