Captured by the Milky Way sent on October 13, 2012 (13:27) by Andrea Iacomi. 9 comments, 1331 views.

at 11mm, 30 sec f/2.8, ISO 1600, tripod.

The idea was a success and the first floor I like ...

Even here, however I find it too annoying light pollution ... perhaps accentuated by the presence of haze!

What kind of WB have set for this shot? ... Raffreddala a bit and try to intervene with selective color!

Hello Andrea, my personal opinion on the shoot is positive, if I criticize are a couple: the person who looks at the sky rather than place it in the center of the frame I would have preferred it had been inserted two-thirds from the left, because then the viewer release would lead to better empathize with that person from the right side of the frame observes the sky, the second note is about blacks of the land in the foreground that I would rather they had not been brought to pure black, in the absence of plot used in the first step (probably because of the noise) you could start the histogram to a couple of points above zero.
Then a suggestion that could improve the sharpness of the picture would be to apply a thin local contrast, so that the whole thing was a bit 'more "clear".

Hello

Paul

Thank you all for the suggestions! The darken the 'grass, like my silhouette was a personal choice, as moot :)

On darken share (ie on not lighten, so for me you were right to create the silhouettes (see google annoys me how to spell it: P)), I was talking of pure black.
If you look closely it is as if there were puddles of oil on the ground.

Perhaps, as far as I'm concerned, I would have to darken even more then :)

heck vittorio has quite a lot of light pollution, you tried to do a shot like this in cansiglio? maybe pointing toward the end farthest from the nucleus, which is usually from cansiglio the view looking towards its vittorio beccandoti then all the light of the city. certainly with this exhibition you can see something and then gives us an extra boost with photoshop! :)
