Fine Ottobre inizi Novembre, la val Susa è stata colpita da giganteschi incendi di origine dolosa , che favoriti dall' estrema siccità e da forti venti, hanno bruciato per giorni e giorni distruggendo centinaia di ettari di bosco e minacciando molte abitazioni e attività montane. Inoltrarsi in questi boschi dove migliaia di alberi morti testimoniano la tragedia avvenuta , fa tornare alla mente la perdita di persone care.
