Guardando questa foto mi ritrovo bambino di quattro anni, di notte, a guardare fuori da un balcone di casa mia. Ciò che sto vedendo mi incanta. Mi cattura. Mi piace. Il mondo è un posto meraviglioso. E' notte fonda e mamma e papà dormono. Sono due bellissime persone. Non sono sicuro vadano proprio molto d'accordo, ma questo non mi turba molto perché in questo momento il mondo, che sto guardando da dietro i vetri, mi sta dicendo che la natura è bellissima. Che la vita è bellissima. E io mi sento fortunato e non ho paura. Anche se tra qualche anno mamma e papà si separeranno per la seconda -e definitiva- volta e non avrò più le spalle al coperto, perché questa specie di famiglia -fatta di persone buone se prese a una a una- diventerà una barca alla deriva, che imbarca acqua e i cui occupanti vedrò -con sgomento- comportarsi in un modo che, decenni dopo saprò definire "Si salvi chi può". Qui dentro l'egoismo vincerà sull'amore. Col mio candore ci metterò decenni per capirlo davvero.
Ma io, in questo momento, a quattro anni, di notte, dietro i vetri del balcone mentre mamma e papà dormono e sono in tregua rimango sereno perché invece, lì fuori , il mondo è bello. Il mondo che mi aspetta è affascinante, immenso. Ed affettuoso, come la Luna che sta carezzando questo pino. E io mi sento fortunato e felice.
