,

Beautiful view; there is something that reminds me of the photos taken at Lake Campotosto at the Aquila, apart from the cold and floating ice elements.
Big work.

Thanks so much.
Edo10 also I had this feeling by taking this photo.
The "arctic" light of that morning reminded me incredibly of some amazing photographic moments passed to Campotosto. Livier in Iceland is more I think Abruzzo is the only place I know in Italy that can give you feelings similar to those you can try here.

The biggest explosion was not that of the Laki volcano? I did not know this volcano but I read that Hvannadalshnúkur is the highest peak of the volcano .. terrifying! Anyway, congratulations to the photo, gorgeous! 8-)

Undoubtedly a beautiful imamgine where the uncontaminated purity of Iceland is impressed! I hope to continue this work in the next few days, in the hope that you will be able to live epic situations and deep moments of synergy with the territory .. congratulations Vince !!

Thanks a lot to everyone!
Budinix84: Iceland's main road runs around this volcano in the section from Skaftafell to the Jokulsarlon Lagoon.
Ceol: Laki has produced the greatest eruption in Icelandic times, but lasted many months. The most intense exposition was the eruption of the Öræfajökull of 1362.
Hvannadalshnúkur is precisely the highest peak of the crest surrounding the Öræfajökull caldera.
Gabriele: Thank you so much. I'm here to guide you on hiking tours on an ice tongue that comes down from the volcano. The glacier is spectacular these days because of the great cold.
There was a meeting of prand there seems to be no immediate concern at the moment.
