Foto scattata dal mio amico Mauro che mi ha ripreso mentre mi accingevo a salire sulla cresta di un cono vulcanico. Purtroppo l'allineamento con l'orizzonte non è perfetto, ma non l'ho potuto correggere perché raddrizzando la foto avrei inevitabilmente tagliato via porzioni di immagine, soprattutto l'angolo inferiore sinistro. Lo dico per giustificare la mia falcata commisurata alla pendenza della parete del cono; pendenza che si percepisce meno in virtù del mancato allineamento con l'orizzonte. A parte questo piccolo dettaglio tecnico ;-) sono interessanti le esalazioni di vapore inusualmente più elevate rispetto ala norma in questo punto dell'Etna, sintomo che il vulcano forse ha energia da dissipare.
