Buongiorno, purtroppo tra ieri e oggi alcuni Ibis eremita del progetto Waldrappteam sono stati colpiti a fucilate. I fatti sono avvenuti rispettivamente presso Cecina-Livorno e presso San Vincenzo-Follonica_Grosseto. Uno di questi è morto. Purtroppo si trattava di Goja, cavallo di battaglia del progetto in quanto primo ibis eremita ad aver compiuto, tra il 2011 ed il 2012, autonomamente la migrazione imparata da giovane volando a seguito del paraplano a motore. Goja stava rientrando presso l'area di svernamento situata all'Oasi WWF della Laguna di Orbetello portando con se due giovani nati ed allevati da genitori naturali (a Burghausen). Stava quindi insegnando loro la rotta dalla Baviera alla Toscana. Purtroppo il suo viaggio è stato interrotto bruscamente stamattina praticamente sotto agli occhi di una volontaria del Waldrappteam che poco prima li aveva visti in volo. Gli altri due si trovano ora presso il Cruma di Livorno dove il Dr Ceccherelli sta cercando di fare il possibile per salvarli.Si tratta di un duro colpo per il progetto Waldrappteam e potrebbe comprometterne seriamente il futuro.Attualmente altri 8 ibis eremita stanno per mettersi in viaggio per raggiungere il quartiere di svernamento presso l'Oasi WWF della Laguna di Orbetello, è probabile che seguano la stessa rotta di Goja, lungo la costa orientale.
