Scozia, Skye. Avvolto e centrifugato come in pochi altri luoghi.

Great shot Fortunato
Great tonal contrast between the foreground and the background ... Wonderful as always the composition and the colors, never too intrusive and slightly pastel ... Gran Gusto

One thing, I would have tried a bit more than the water movement ... But maybe it's just my habit .... If I see a rush of water I like to fix that memory with an intermediate shot time between the move and frozen ... Having used a long exposure maybe you would have to make a blend of two shots. But I'm just fixed and the shot is magnificent

PS
Congratulations for your achievement at the Wildlife photographer of the year. I was in Milan on Friday and on your wall your shot and the one of Unterthiner made a hissing figure ... ;-)

A beautiful masterfully composed image! starting from the first floor with the beautiful water movement from multiple directions but all with their order in the frame, the orange grass of the hills whose profiles then go along gently with the mountainous ones ... the sky to close a beautiful portrait of a spectacular nature that as usual you duly represented.
Many compliments!

Great sensei, that is to say, even if you have not been able to capture the autumn colors of your beloved woods, you have nevertheless immortalized a wild landscape that is always part of your wolden, and at least you have been able to convey strong emotions. Nature is beautiful just because one day it enchants you with its tranquility and a feeling of peace and one day it triggers with its most aggressive shape but still has its own hidden beauty like this. just compliments. a gentle greeting

Very beautiful the color contrast between the foreground and the background.
A photo that perfectly expresses the concept of wild nature.
A picture that gives me emotion to look at her.
As for the water movement, I like it so, but Angus's point of view is also interesting. It would be nice to see the two versions, but I'm afraid it's not possible.
Compliments

When I thought about posting this photo a few days ago, I remembered your thoughts about water yield and I was pretty sure you'd notice it. MrGreen

I'm a pretty bad bang! :-D

Yet your reasoning does not bend! And it is a key to which I had never thought of!

Regarding the colors and overall yield on the micro contrast, I have to admit that the A7R2 really does work. ;-)

Eh I'm in the middle of the ford, soon I have to change my 6d and start mystic crises :-D
:-D

Still compliments!

A very good representation where you feel the extreme condition in which you have come back!
I find very clever the decision to adopt a long time, has undoubtedly made the difference in aesthetic and reading the shot!

[QUOTES] Few colors for an Autumn that would even be euphemistic to be fleeting, because in fact high temperatures and Atlantic storms (let's even hurry up a few weeks ago) have cleared in a few days the chance to admire foliage. I should be sorry, but in fact the visceral love for the place where I live, which in fact is growing ", has given me another demonstration of how much rarities there are every day in Nature, the fortune I have had over the years past and how important it isin the fragments of color previously collected. Deep and Wise Reflection For!
