Insuperabile maestro nell'arte della mimetizzazione il geco “coda foglia” (Uroplatus sikorae), è una specie di rettile endemica del Madagascar principalmente diffusa nella foresta pluviale. La caratteristica che più colpisce di questi animali è sicuramente l'abilità nel confondersi con il territorio circostante, la cute cambia colore adattandosi alla corteccia o al muschio vicino ed i suoi lembi si estendono verso l'esterno garantendo così una migliore mimetizzazione e quindi una perfetta difesa dagli attacchi indesiderati. E' un rettile prevalentemente notturno.(Grande fortuna essere riuscito ad avvistarlo)
