Mi piace molto il punto di ripresa, la composizione e la nitidezza/dettaglio dell'immagine. Buona anche la gestione delle luci.
Mi piace meno il fatto che la distorsione renda la torre quadrata ed i due torrioni rotondi come coricati sul fianco destro. Avrei cercato di correggerlo in pp.

Comunque non si tratta di distorsione anche se può sembrare ma sono fatte proprio così. Ciò è dovuto al restauro di Viollet-le-Duc, famoso architetto, che sintetizzo così il suo approccio ai lavori di restauro del castello: "Restaurare un edificio, non è solo mantenerlo, ripararlo, o ricostruirlo, è riportarlo ad una condizione completa che potrebbe non essere mai esistita". L'architetto francese si attenne rigorosamente ai suoi principi in occasione dei restauri del castello e l'edificio divenne così l'emblema stesso del restauro stilistico (e fonte di accese critiche da parte degli architetti e restauratori favorevoli all'approccio conservativo, che lo accusavano di aver inventato di sana pianta parti del castello) [Wikipedia] .

Bella visione notturna della splendida Carcassonne, oltre quanto detto da Barbara ti faccio due appunti alla composizione per la zona nera in basso che potevi evitare o rifilare e per l'arco tagliato a destra, comunque una piacevolissima immagine in cui hai controllato bene le luci.
