Around All Souls' Day, at this time of the year only celebrated due to Halloween nowadays, I took a walk around a tiny English war cemetery. It was an old graveyard in the Po Valley (Pianura Padana, Italy), hidden in the cold, autumn fog with a gloomy atmosphere. It was established in memory of many young men who fought in a war which wasn't theirs, for a country which wasn't theirs and for some freedom which wasn't theirs! I'm not sure how many people, relatives or friends will go visit them, even just to bring a simple flower. I took these uncomplicated pictures to thank them and honour them for the liberty we can enjoy today.
