La Certosa di S. Lorenzo fu fondata nel 1306, da Tommaso Sanseverino, Conte di Marsico e Connestabile del Regno di Napoli. Si tratta di una delle certose più grandi d'Europa, con 51000 mq di superficie, ed è la più antica della Campania. Luogo bellissimo, che visitai tanti anni fa durante una gita scolastica alle elementari. Ci sono tornato con molto piacere. Marzo 2017. Padula (SA).
