Location: Mombasa (Kenya) – Questa volta i colori li ho voluti cercare tra la... gente. Mombasa si trova su un'isola separata dal continente da due piccoli fiumi, il Tudor Creek ed il Kilindini Harbour. A nord è collegata alla terraferma dal ponte "Nyali Bridge", a ovest dalla "Makupa Causeway" che la congiunge alla ferrovia dell'Uganda ed a sud da un servizio di traghetti. E' proprio all'imbarco di questi traghetti che è possibile vedere questa coloratissima "marea" di persone che, con ogni mezzo, si avvia ad effettuare la piccola "traversata". La foto è stata scattata (per altro di nascosto perché, non riesco a capire per quale motivo, era severamente proibito fotografare) attraverso il vetro posteriore del pulmino su cui viaggiavo e, per dare un po' di "dinamicità" alla stessa ho scelto di effettuare una messa a fuoco un po' ardita (sulle persone in secondo piano piuttosto che su quelle in primo piano). Scelta che a molti, già lo so, probabilmente anche a ragione, non sembrerà felice ma, che ci volete fare, io sono fatto così ed, almeno in musica e in fotografia, mi piace andare spesso... controcorrente. Ovviamente, come mia consuetudine, nel bene e nel male, l'immagine è stata "costruita" direttamente "on board", senza alcun intervento in PP.
