18.08.2017 Al Samburu NR molte specie hanno caratteristiche morfologiche diverse dal resto del continente africano, le Giraffe Reticulate sono tipiche di questa riserva e di poche altre zone di confine tra Uganda e Somalia. Hanno un aspetto molto elegante e i maschi (come il soggetto nella foto) presentano cinque ossiconi: due vere e proprie corna, un bernoccolo frontale e due corna sull'occipitale. Un ritratto al tramonto con sullo sfondo le montagne rocciose del Samburu che assumono con questa luce una colorazione violacea. #safari
