#Hemiptera #Rhynchota #Wild #Red Cimice delle piante Graphosoma italicum (Muller) Dimensione: 8-13 mm. caratteristiche: Piccolo emittero onnipresente e particolarmente appariscente con la sua livrea inconfondibile a strisce verticali rosse e nere. Gli emitteri devono il loro nome al fatto che, quando sono posati, sovrappongono le ali cosicchè sembrano possedere delle “mezze ali” (hemi-ptera = metà-ala). Il Graphosoma italicum comprende le due sottospecie G. italicum lineatum (quello rappresentato in questa scheda) ed il G. italicum semipuncatum che differisce per avere le linee che si interrompono sul dorso e dei punti neri sullo sfondo rosso del capo. Entrambi sono, come tutti gli emitteri, dotati di apparato succhiante e di rostro staccato nettamente sulla parte anteriore del capo. Lo si osserva nei campi incolti sulle ombrellifere o sui cardi.
