@Simone - in fact the crop is just because I wanted people to see better :)
@Mauro - Yes, in the original photo (two shots photomerge) the source pond was all there, but in this shot, as I wrote above I wanted to make sure people saw it and also that the attention was directed towards the orange "casting" and their contrast with the blue that in the full-size photo lost a bit. Anyway, in the near future I will also post a picture more or less like the one you imagined;)

@Mauro - Sì, nella foto originaria (photomerge di due scatti) il laghetto della sorgente c'era tutto, ma in questo scatto, come ho scritto sopra volevo fare in modo che si vedessero le persone ed inoltre che l'attenzione fosse indirizzata verso le "colate" arancioni ed al loro contrasto con il blu che nella foto a formato intero si perdeva un po'. Comunque a breve posterò anche una foto più o meno come quella che immaginavi ;)

In fact, the site is very particular and the colors are really those of the photo (which I doubted before I checked in person ;-)). The point of observation from which I took most of the photos at Prismatic is exterior and raised to the classic passage near the source and involves a total walk of a couple of km but I recommend to anyone in the area to do :)

In effetti il luogo è molto particolare ed i colori sono realmente quelli della foto (cosa della quale dubitavo leggermente prima di verificare di persona ). Il punto di osservazione da cui ho scattato la maggior parte delle foto a Prismatic è esterno e sopraelevato al passaggio classico vicino alla sorgente e comporta una camminata complessiva di un paio di Km che però consiglio a chiunque sia in zona di fare :)
