Homeless on the streets of Lisbon. The last, those who in life have never received anything, drag their broken shoes, and locked in dirty clothes that hide sdrucidi lean bodies from swollen bellies from too much wine. Have the common feature of every major city, a symbol of the failure of a company dedicated to the worship of the superfluous, blind face of suffering and loneliness, he sees and moves on. Boats adrift, which will sink to the first hint of a storm, when winter returns to tighten the grip of the cold miserable their beds made of cardboard. The early morning sun will not make it to warm their bodies and someone will wake up more, from sleep to death.

Beautiful photos and intorduzione very touching ...

I was in Lisbon now a 25 years ago and I remember seeing a lot of beggars, especially lame and blind, as I have never seen anywhere.

Have you tried the BN? I'm thinking that it would be more effective .. ancoa

Thanks Memy, I cane in several versions, this is only the image as taken. I also noticed I an impressive amount of poor people in Lisbon. I made several shots to the homeless in the early hours of the morning, I was surprised to find that the people among them quite young. It is probably the effect of the crisis that is sweeping the euro zone, a comfortable life to absolute poverty now step will become increasingly short, we are depleting and there are no more shocks and social assistance. You just lose your job and in no time you find yourself on the road ....

Ciao e complimenti.

The shot is great for composition and light, which comes at the right side: I would try a BN, which may give more strength to the drama that the photo already expressed.

Considerations that do, totally shared: the West now has sacrificed her deepest identity (Europe, the home of human rights) on the altar of the market that has become final judge of our lives. If the policy will not regain dignity and put a stop to financial speculation, we are all destined to a society where many will be reduced on the poverty line. And the social indifference is the product of thirty years of pseudo TV culture, which pushed the pedal of selfishness and hedonism.

We should all BindGere pages that Pasolini had seen it all with extraordinary foresight.

Hello and congratulations.

Ciao Sergio

A photo of great technical merit, but also of great emotional impact. One of those photos that make you think and give the true meaning and the true measure of what the photograph.
I fully agree on the analysis of those who preceded me, especially Preben, and then I'll offer my congratulations for your accomplishment this is perfect from all points of view.

Hello Sergio

It is not the policy that must regain dignity, but man, that is us.
No one I object 'when it was voted the law providing for retirement after 15 or 19 years of contributions, no one asked how you can secure a pension with only 15 years old? That ruled political class for decades, now the children if they ask.
Because the politician should be different from us?
Just an example, the change has to start from the bottom ...... with demagoguery are based parties devoid of content as is happening now.
