La chiesa di Santa Maria della Tomba è una chiesa sita a Sulmona (Aq). Si tratta della terza chiesa di maggiore importanza, della cittadina abbruzzese. Secondo una leggenda locale il termine "della Tomba" proviene dal sepolcro del tempio romano, oppure dalla stessa Domus di Publio Ovidio Nasone. Edificata nel 1076 circa sopra le rovine di un tempio romano dedicato a Giove. Nel XII secolo furono aggiunti i grandi rilievi romanici e gotici oggi visibili, e nell'epoca del barocco, nel 1700, fu aggiunto un oratorio interno. Negli anni Settanta del Novecento un imponente restauro ha ripulito la facciata dagli affreschi e dagli elementi barocchi, pulendo inoltre il bianco marmo dagli effetti dei gas automobilistici, restituendo la chiesa alla forma originaria. - La casa ove abitavamo era sita in via Panfilo Serafini, che sbocca proprio nella piazza ove risiede questa chiesa.
