Maggio 2016 - Confine Italo austriaco Partito sotto un diluvio con i miei amici e compagni di avventure Manolo ed Andrea speravo che il rischio di prenderci acqua e freddo venisse ripagato; ci eravamo attrezzati in ogni modo anche con cambi di vestiti multipli ed eravamo pronti anche ad una salita sotto alla neve, insomma avevamo deciso di credere nelle previsioni meteo che davano aperture per l'ora del tramonto. Posteggiata la macchina iniziammo a salire sotto la pioggia che con l'aumentare della quota andava trasformandosi in neve (il profumo dell'aria preannuciava qualcosa di speciale); in poco più di due ore di ascesa ci trovammo davanti ad uno scenario pazzesco e speravamo che l'apertura prevista diventasse davvero realtà... Passarono solo pochi minuti, smise di nevicare, il vento si alzò e come per magia i nostri sogni divennerò realtà, restammo totalmente ammaliati davanti a questo spettacolo ed io al punto che passai più di un ora senza guanti e con la sola felpa addosso, non mi ricordavo nemmeno più cosa era il freddo.
