6 settembre 2007…Con una Nikon D70 equipaggiata di un 300 mm F4 prestatami dall'amico Luciano percorrevo assieme a Paolo un vecchio sentiero al limite superiore di un profumato bosco di cembro… Uscendo dall'ombra, ostacolati dal mare di rododendri in cui annaspavamo immersi sino alla vita, ci affacciammo, su di una radura scaldata dal sole… Il cuore prese ad accelerare sbattendo nelle tempie e strozzandoci il respiro nella gola secca… Una lupa con quattro cuccioli! Il tempo di tirare su le reflex… controllare i diaframmi… focheggiare cercando di centrare i soggetti e… La mamma con due cuccioli erano già scomparsi dall'inquadratura… Arrivai a spremere un paio di scatti ai due rimasti che, con il sole negli occhi, mostravano proprio di non aver ancora capito bene cosa stesse accadendo…. Così; tanto per ricordare e condividere con tutti Voi, un'avventura con i lupi.
