Venerdì 22 settembre 2017, 10:13. Immagine sottoposta a "Defishing" tramite Photoshop per ottenere una prospettiva cilindrica. Un effetto collaterale è dato dal cavo in alto, incurvato nella direzione opposta a quella che in realtà assume per la forza di gravità. Avevo pensato di clonarlo ma poi l'ho lasciato, perché in una foto di documentazione ritengo più "onesto" tenere anche gli elementi secondari; e anche perché evidenzia la configurazione geometrica della foto. # Detta dai sestesi "l'Abbazia" perché un tempo chiesa abbaziale di una comunità monastica, fu fondata nell'IX secolo. L'attuale edificio risale all'XI, ha subito numerosi interventi nei secoli successivi, ma le due absidi sono quelle dell'edificio originario. L'abside sud andò distrutta nel `700 e venne sostituita da una sacrestia chiaramente visibile a sinistra dell'abside centrale. I muri sono composti da vari materiali, in prevalenza serizzo della Val d'Ossola e pietra d'Angera. Si notano, inseriti come materiali di reimpiego, alcuni elementi dei precedenti edifici pagani (nel campanile è un'epigrafe romana) e cristiani sui quali è stato edificato l'attuale tempio. #Chiese #Campanili #Monumenti #Medioevo #Fisheye #BiancoeNero #blackandwhite #b&w
