la Baia di Ieranto è parte dell'AMP di Punta Campanella, in Penisola Sorrentina. Detta anche "Baia delle Sirene" dal mito di Ulisse. Accessibile solo a piedi, via terra, la Baia è stata recuperata dal FAI e restituita al pubblico nella sua naturale e selvaggia bellezza. Restano tutt'oggi reperti di archeologia industriale a memoria del passato in cui era sfruttata per l'estrazione del calcare. Lo scenario che si apre ai visitatori è mozzafiato: alte falesie degradano nel mare dall'azzurro intenso guidando l'occhio verso la punta estrema del promontorio con la torre saracena e il faro. Di fronte: l'isola di Capri.

ciao Guaita e grazie per aver l'osservazione. Se fosse stato possibile avrei incluso anche il braccio di mare a dx al completo ma erano i cespugli alti ad ostacolarmi la vista. Temevo di distorcere troppo le linee dell'edificio sulla sx, se mi fossi spostato ulteriormente a dx. Grazie. Enzo.
