Ciao Nicolò, come ti ho già scritto altre volte le tue foto sono un tutt'uno con i racconti con cui le accompagni, dai quali imparo sempre qualcosa di nuovo. Non conoscevo la storia di Sartorius che andrò presto a leggere. La foto è molto bella, piena di contrasti, come ci hai abituato, e di una perfetta gestione del controluce (del quale sei maestro). Mi piace molto il contrasto tra l'apparente "sterilità" del suolo lavico incoerente e il verde, illuminato di vita, dei pini aggrappati ai pendii. Mi piace anche la composizione "non canonica" con la diagonale, disegnata dal susseguirsi dei coni vulcanici, che porta il mio sguardo a perdersi nella nuvola e il Sole, così basso, che invece mi richiama con forza, con i suoi raggi luminosi, ad esplorare anche la parte rimanente dell'immagine. La mancanza di contrasto dello sfondo e la definizione dei raggi solari aumentano il senso di profondità della fotografia, così da farmi immaginare di essere lassù, al pari del Sole, a godermi la bellezza di questo paesaggio.
