- Cuccioli di Camoscio Appenninico, il nucleo storico di questo splendido ungulato è quello insediato sulle rupi dell'attuale Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo Lazio e Molise, grazie ad una mirata politica di protezione e all'istituzione del Parco il camoscio è sopravvissuto alla sicura estinzione, negli anni '90 è iniziato il processo di ripopolamento della specie nei Parchi Nazionali della Majella, del Gran Sasso, dei Monti Sibillini e nel Parco Regionale Sirente Velino. Si tratta di una specie unica al mondo presente solo nel centro Italia, attualmente esistono più di 2000 esemplari a fronte dei 30 degli inizi del '900.
