proprio a destra della cima piramidale più a destra si intravede il nuovo rifugio del Goûter. Per arrivare ad esso e proseguire la scalata al Monte Bianco per la via normale francese bisogna superare il temibile Grand Couloir du Goûter (soprannominato anche il canalone della morte) dove negli anni si sono susseguiti innumerevoli incidenti di cui molti mortali.
