Forget about turning on the lights maybe it was not a misfortune.
In my opinion, they would have been too bright for the rest and you would not have distinguished the shape of the lighthouse.

I increased a Po vignetting to make the background of the darker lights, then I drew the lights in Photoshop, and finally I worked to end by projecting the lights and shadows on me and Deborah to make the photo as realistic as possible .. :-D
