MI sono immaginato una scena del celebre film, diretto da Sidney Pollack nel 1972, che narra la soria di Jeremiah Johnson (Robert Redford), veterano della guerra messicano-statunitense, che intraprende la vita del mountain-man sulle montagne rocciose. La sua vita si intreccia con quella delle varie tribù di indiani presenti sul territorio, fra le quali quella dei Corvi che con risvolti a volte drammatici rappresenta il filo conduttore di tutto il film. Il moderno cavaliere ciclodotato che si gode una meritata siesta, la sua cavalcatura che si riposa poco lontano, alle spalle il furtivo pellerossa che già pregusta la soddisfazione di ottenere l'ennesimo scalpo.
