Great picture, is the fruit of your labor Stefano, sounds easy but it is not at all because you have to choose a nice shot and after many hours of patience at the end you see what comes out! I'm very happy with this Nikon d7000 I is giving a lot of satisfaction!

Ciao, Br1 ;-)

Really beautiful! perhaps I've raised a little 'framing and pity for the light so' strong on the left ... Is still a great shot! Hello, Br1 ;-)

Complimenti ancora , sandro

Hello Stephen, congratulations for your masterpieces, I really leave you speechless.
I like this one in particular. Forgive my ignorance did you leave the shutter open for three and a half hours? and
the carrier what would it be? you can take a picture like this only with a tripod and a 50mm f1.4, of course I guess it's a better angle.

Congratulations again, sandro

Grazie Sandro, troppo gentile!!!

Thanks Sandro, too kind!

Individual poses are interspersed with 3 minutes 1 second and then mounted with startrails (free software that you can find on the net).
The Carrier is Mount is seen in the background on the right and with its 2476 meters is one of the highest of the Apennines.

You can perform a polar rotation even with a 50, but obviously with a wide-angle effect is more
