London's skyline would be unthinkable without the fabulous Shard piercing the sky, today.
When getting my train home from Waterloo Station, I glanced over to this concrete spike, to Google it later to see what building it was going to be. (I never found out, at the time and my London friend didn't know either.)
It was a horrible freezing grey afternoon, so the light is terrible, the picture isn't brilliant but for a shot from the archives of today's Europe's tallest building, this is better than nothing. 400mm lens |
