#Dragonflies #Blu #Odonata #Libellule Orthetrum brunneum (Fonscolombe, 1837) E' una specie relativamente piccola, con addome di circa 30 mm di lunghezza. C'è dimorfismo sessuale e i maschi sono di colore azzurro-grigio mentre le femmine ocra-marrone. Lo pterostigma è relativamente (rispetto agli altri Orthetrum) piccolo ed è di color marrone. I maschi hanno volto blu chiaro e torace completamente blu. Le femmine hanno l'8° segmento allargato ventralmente. Vola da maggio a settembre. L'habitat in genere è costituito da fossati, ruscelli, prati, laghetti poco profondi o canali con sponde non troppo ricche di vegetazione. FONTE: https://cuneodonata.jimdo.com/
