One of England's premier beaches, at 9 a.m. yesterday, when it was a little cool and dull. The time to take photos and for the beachcomber with his metal detector to find dropped coins. I'm kneeling in the sand, the Pier on the horizon and I could see the beachcomber walking along, always at the same distance out from the beach. He probably thought I was taking pretty snaps of pretty seashells, but I purposefully had the fisheye on and so he walked within 4 feet of me! No graduated grey filters can be fitted to the front of a fisheye of course, so exposure and processing had to extra carefully undertaken. By 10 a.m, families and children were piling in, I'd put my camera away and by midday it was heaving and hot - I got the bus home!

It wasn't the most comfortable point of view, I have to admit, Danilo, huge thanks and good day!

Hi Tim, like the way you talk about your experiences. It's not just a pic, but the full story of your pic. Thank you for sharing your stories.

That is most kind, Gaia, thank you so much! It also allowed me to soothe my aching feet, from recent walking, in the water and for a brief "swim", though the sea is still a little chilly in UK. But you can combine this with photography, as I have shown.
