Un giovanissimo colubro liscio (Coronella austriaca) lungo 14,5 cm. La manipolazione dei serpenti di piccole dimensioni va effettuata con particolare delicatezza perché facilmente soggetti a stress e lesioni. Ad esempio, anziché prendere i nostri "modelli" direttamente in mano, con il rischio di esercitare su di essi una pressione eccessiva, è opportuno indurli ad attorcigliarsi a un appiglio naturale, da utilizzare come provvisorio mezzo di trasporto o anche come elemento del set di ripresa. Nel caso della foto postata mi sono servito di un fusto di finocchio selvatico.
