per Roberto: ho pubblicato i dati di scatto. Le foto sono con esposizione, velocità e fuoco manuali. Uso un monopiede. Stando in pista, faccio attenzione alla sicurezza stando piuttosto lontano; quindi con la 7D uso il 300 e con la 5D MKII uso il 300 con il moltiplicatore 1.4x (o il 2x nelle gare di SuperG).
Roberto: I published the shooting data. The photos are exposed, speed and focus manually. I use a monopod. Ciao, ottimi i colori, il taglio(peccato per lo sci esterno tagliato), il dinamismo e la scelta dei tempi di scatto abbastanza veloci da congelare l'atleta lasciando però mossa la neve che aggiunge ulteriore dinamismo alla scena.
Andrò controcorrente, ma di tutte quelle che hai è una di quelle che mi piace meno, poichè facendo anch'io gare di sci l'inverno mi trovo ad essere criticato se il momento dello scatto non è con la conduzione massima dello sci esterno e la porta non è visibile, in questo caso l'interno è troppo carico ed il palo non si vede proprio, la mano struscia in terra......

Molto bella tutta la serie, questa però è quella che mi piace di più in assoluto, da grande appassionato di sci devo dire che hai scattato un'immagine da rivista specializzata, da l'idea di essere li in quel determinato momento, anche i colori sono bellissimi. Davvero tanti complimenti.

Ho già guardato più volte i tuoi album, le tue foto sono tutte molto belle e oltre a ciò i soggetti essendo agonisti fanno delle "pose" veramente uniche :) Se mai hai tempo fai qualche foto ai SG, in particolare sui salti, dovrebbero rendere molto bene!

Per Barone: Hai perfettamente ragione per quanto riguarda l'inquadratura. Nelle categorie più piccole, da Baby a Ragazzi e forse anche Allievi, è obbligatorio avere la porta nella foto, perché corrisponde alla conduzione massima (o tentativo di conduzione). Quando però fotografo le FIS (e soprattutto il primo gruppo), gli sciatori sono tecnicamente migliori e la loro curva è già finita quando arrivano al palo. Per cui spesso preferisco anticipare e scegliere il momento di maggior carico sull'esterno, magari anche con il terzo appoggio. D'altra parte, senza la porta la foto è vuota e devo scegliere se stringere l'immagine o avere uno sfondo contrastante (cielo o alberi). Tutto questo in Gigante. Per lo Slalom è diverso. Per quanto riguarda l'interno troppo carico, guardando la foto da maestro di sci, non sono d'accordo; qui il ragazzo mi sembra messo bene.

For Barone: You're absolutely right about the picture. In the smaller categories, from Baby Boys and perhaps even to students, it is mandatory to have the door in the picture, because it corresponds to the maximum run (or attempting to run). Ti devi mettere sotto ai dossi, perché le foto in curva sembrano dei gigantoni e le foto in posizione sono banali (sto parlando delle FIS regionali - in Coppa del Mondo gli sciatori sono belli ovunque). Quindi hai un posto solo dove metterti e non puoi scegliere la luce. Poi, non li vedi arrivare e fotografi alla cieca, contando i secondi di intervallo tra uno e l'altro. Infine devi stare frontale o quasi, perché con le inquadrature laterali, molte volte ti escono dall'inquadratura.
For Aleks11: Photographing the Super G is a nightmare. You have to put under the bumps because the photos appear in the corners of gigantoni and photos in place are trivial (I'm talking about the regional FIS - World Cup skiers are beautiful everywhere). So you and put you one place where you can not choose the light. Then, as you see them coming and photographers blindly, counting the seconds interval between one and the other.
