Upupa in volo ! questo anno per puro caso abbiamo potuto fotografare questi graziosi uccelli , in genere sono sempre avvistamenti casuali o in prossimità di nidi , nel nostro caso nulla di tutto ciò , tutto è iniziato in un luogo dove di sovente ci si apposta con un capanno provvisorio per fotografare i gruccioni (il capanno rimane sul il luogo per tutto il periodo dei gruccioni ) , ogni tanto veniva a farci visita qualche Upupa ,osservandola ci siamo accorti che mangiava i resti degli insetti catturati dai gruccioni i e i vari insetti che li attraevano , osservando questo comportamento si è favorito la loro presenza procurandogli del cibo , inizialmente "pascolavano "a terra , come loro abitudine e non andavano mai sui posatoi , se non qualche rara volta quando arrivavano ,( la presenza massima contemporaneamente è stata di 14 upupe , per poi mantenersi nei giorni successivi a 4-6 esemplari ) con un pò di ingegno si è fatto in modo di fotografarle sui vari posatoi , messi appositamente cercando di fruire degli sfondi migliori , Tantissimi amici hanno fruito di tale occasione , le foto scattate e postate ne sono una riprova , credo che a breve inizieranno la loro migrazione e speriamo di rivederle nel prossimo anno !
