at 24mm, 1/40 f/10.0, ISO 1600, hand held. Specie: Macropus robustus

Unfortunately, there are millions of them ... and the ticks that travel the night falter different! I think, however, despite this sad calculation the total population tends to increase, otherwise an environment-conscious nation like Australia would move! ;-)
Great document, thank you for showing it!

Eh they feel it, pity they are still dazzled by the headlights, for a while they do not know where to go: it's a bit like cats and other animals. And for them the road and the machines are strange bodies, they know they can and must go, eat and do their things! :-(

At night at Kalbarri were all around us, and we went very fast, they felt and saw it, but nothing removes that one, for example, just touched by jumping the back corner of the car that went ... Fortunately nothing was done , But if it has touched the back you can really imagine it had moved even after we were gone! And we played the horn every now and then, think ...

I really like this photo ... much less what documents ... I'm so sorry to see the unhappy cangurino on a deserted road ... they are things that happen, I understand, but I'm always sorry when these incidents happen .. .

if I can make a technical comment, in my opinion HDR too exasperated, too shadowy shadows make unnatural contrast and all the photo

Well, it's my taste, if you like it like that. We would miss it ....

I was also there because my sister lives in Perth.

Cmq back to the photo ... note that the blacks are all faded ... try to open less shadows ... with contrasts of sharp southern light it is difficult to have soft shadows ...
