Emborio è un villaggio non molto conosciuto dal classico turista di Santorini...ma se vivrete su quest'isola da viaggiatori e non, appunto, da turisti, non potrete non visitarlo. Proprio per il suo essere forse "sconosciuto" alla massa, ha mantenuto al 100% la sua autenticità; questo lo si respira nei vicoli deserti, nelle stradine strette e colorate dove i soli presenti sono gli abitanti locali...dove il silenzio regna sovrano, distante dal formicolare di persone che entrano ed escono compulsivamente dai negozi...le piccole vie sono un esplosione di colori e profumi, e percorrerle in solitudine crea un senso di armonia col paesaggio che nulla ha a che vedere con le caotiche mete create ad hoc per i turisti.
