You do not see much the milky way and therefore the sky is not photogenic, the rest ok being a single click maybe you could do other tests with the big house + in the frame

I really like this shot embellished by the low end house. Certainly the starry sky is not Zeiss from 15mm but you've done the most with your equipment. Compliments

you do not see much the milky way and then the sky is little photogenic

It was not in my intentions to make the milky way visible but only the starry sky looking for falling stars :-)
I could not enlarge the house, the shot was made with fixed optics from a garden surrounded by walls.

Thank you Riccardo, there is another shot made by that garden, specific to the Milky Way, you find it in my gallery, but I'm in my baptism for this type of shot, I have a lot to learn :-)

The house is well balanced ... with the signature!

The sky is good, the stars are all there! The house is maybe a bit burned ...

As for the composition, it seems to me that the sky is very wide, maybe you could try a different cut ... let's say that with the milky way maybe it would be less monotonous.

Thank you Will for the passage and the welcome comment :-) as written in the caption, this is the first time I do these types of shots and I have everything to learn

I do not mean astronomy and asthma photography, so I am limited to a comment from a personal point of view. Amazing sky and home most sense of grandeur. On the house there is a much clearer part that looks burnt but does not disturb more than that much when you look at the set. Compliments.

The show seems ok, from a pint of compositional view the house has its own because it seems to me missing something, the sky is ... too empty and the look after she went to the house does not know where to go. I have to say that maybe I prefer your other shot only with the Milky Way
Greetings Rossana

Thanks to everyone for the passage and its comment.

I disagree when I say heaven is too empty when it is full of stars, including two falling stars ... do not tell me that when you look at the sky in the dark with your eyes you see it empty and you do not know where to look .... I repeat, this shot with the house was done to show the sky and enough, if I wanted to emphasize the milky way I could have done, as the other shot shows, but it was my intention to show the sky so naked and Raw as I saw it at that time, I hope I have clarified this aspect :-)

Of course, you are here to exchange views and do not intend to make you change your mind on your shot ... it is possible that each of us has different feelings than a single photograph and none of them must necessarily be excluded from the other
For next shots

I am convinced that by comparing your ideas with each other, you can "grow" in photography by talking ;-)
Thanks for the intervention 8-)

Step by step because I'm part of the week, but honestly I do not know a nightclub / stellar photo (cippa lippa known technical term :-D)
I do not know, maybe it's the shooting point matched with the granddaughter who very much store the house and make me look all a little strange.

I'm back on your photo because tonight I tried to do something like that ... but how did you do not have the wake of the stars with a 30s exposure? I already saw the movement at 20 ... then I did another type of photo and the wake was wanted, but I do not understand how the wake does not appear in your photo! I definitely miss something on a technical level ...

Hi Will, I do not know what to say, the EXIFs are, I'm in the beginning so I do not really know how to help you unless you have used another target with different focus ... the more the goal is wide, the more you can push Forward with the shooting time and vice versa

I used a 17mm on m4 / 3 ... I will definitely try!

Here is the problem ;-)
It's as if you were using a 34mm on FF is normal, with the m4 / 3 system the crop factor 2 of your sensor does not help, unless you use a 10mm, in that case you would have had my own result in me with that You have to stay up to 15 max 20 seconds.

Well, it's a photo in heaven. You do not see the milk or even a foreground that could have been interesting anyway. There is no composition in a main subject. You've put the house down but maybe you could have given it more space and maybe better balance the exposure-exposure

If I had taken up the space below you would have seen a blocked wall .... I could not give more space to anything
