The thing that always strikes me most in the Sardinian deer is the majesty of the head and neck when compared to subjects mountain I see normally. Hence the characteristic is particularly evident, thunderous roar who knows!

A presto, paolo

Thanks a lot of comment / Change to Charliee71 and Vioz, I'm glad you liked it!

The Sardinian-Corsican subspecies has dimensions much smaller than the nominate subspecies European (males do not exceed 120-130 kg) ela form and structure of the stages are more linear and simple (hardly have chandeliers and crowns). But especially about the head and neck have you own preI know, compared to females then seem to belong to different species and the roar ...... At times it seems almost a shot!!
See you soon, Paul

However I that comment to make this photo? He has too many flaws, first of all it is not my XD
Fantastic as usual, the setting is super and the recovery is truly 3D!

paolo

Even Charles, Rob, thanks for the comments and Stefano Saol benevolent! ;-) I have no experience on deer "continental", but I can say without a doubt that I have personally witnessed in our own units who roar for hours and some for most of the night (especially in conjunction with the full moon) almost to the sunrise!

Quoto in pieno Vioz...infatti mi chiedevo cm mai in tutti i bramiti ke ho visto,i Cervi nn avessero quelle dimensioni del collo e pure l'apertura della bocca non si avvicina nemmeno lontanamente a quella ke si puo' ammirare sulle Tue immagini!!! ke Animali SOETTACOLARI!!!!!!!!!
Un salutone,Davide!

Quoto in full VIOZ cm ... in fact I was wondering why all the grunts ke I saw the deer had nn the size of the neck and also the opening of the mouth is not even close to that ke you can 'see on Tue images ! ke Pets SOETTACOLARI!!!
A salutone, David!
