12/13 luglio Il nostro viaggio prosegue e prima di raggiungere i remoti fiordi occidentali troviamo sulla nostra strada piccoli paesi lungo i fiordi, fari arancioni e anche una nave arenata la BA64 (nella zona di Vik sulla spiaggia di Myrdalsjokul avevamo visto il più famoso aereo). La baleniera BA64 venne costruita in Norvegia nel 1912, lo stesso anno dell'affondamento del Titanic. Dal 1981 risulta inabile al servizio, ma non venne affondata ma spiaggiata nella valle di Skápadalur, vicino a Patreksfjörður.
