10 Luglio Oggi raggiungiamo il lago Myvatn, ma prima di arrivarci c'è la zona della terra che scotta. Dopo aver visto l'incredibile Hverarond, una tavolozza di colori che vanno dall'ocra al giallo, al rosso e dove il sapore aspro dello zolfo entra in gola, decidiamo di salire per un percorso che ci porta sul vulcano Krafla. Ad ogni curva è un'emozione, ad ogni passo si scopre qualcosa di diverso. I fumi e i vapori più si sale e più si alzano. Bisogna stare attenti a seguire il percorso che diventa sempre più rosso scuro, mentre ai lati la lava nera contrasta con i muschi incredibilmente verdi. Difficile da raccontare, ma è esaltante. Sembra di entrare all'inferno.
